Brendan is a Washington, DC-based photographer specializing in beautiful beverage, food, and still life photography that is authentic and evocative.

He worked for 25+ years as a photography editor at organizations known for their award-winning photography, including Smithsonian Magazine, The Nature Conservancy, National Geographic Traveler, the Associated Press, and National Geographic Magazine.

Brendan has an MFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts and a BA in History from Georgetown University. He also serves as a Public Affairs Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve.

He often can be found roaming the woods with his family and dog or surfing whenever possible.
